AoM (cntinued 2)

Darn, these Internet guys here are really not doing a good job at securing their intranet-only computers. Press ctrl-o and their “intranet-only browser” (cf. some full screen derivative of Internet Explorer) will take you whereever you want. :-))

AoM (continued)

Today, I listened to a talk of James March, which was quite interesting (although zou can tell that he is the old Guru who can afford now to be generous to the world…). He stated that there might be two groups of people in the world, those who understood his work and hate it and those who did not understand it and love it. Mmmh, so far I’ve been an admirer of his work, mazbe I should re-read some of the articles…

Academy of Management

The Academy of Management conference is a great thing. We do learn a lot. And so far I’vew counted about 15 participants from the University of St. Gallen. So we guys certainly do represent our University well here. Stefan, Christina, and I try to spread the name of the University of St. Gallen as far as possible, most of the time even across divisional barriers. We hope that the OB, ODC, IMT,… guys appreciate our cross cultural effort to converse interdisciplinary as well 🙂 .
I am looking forward to our presentation of our paper on monday.
