Lost in NY and where the heck is MO?

On my way to the ICIS conference. Had to change planes at JFK NY. Fortunately immigration queuing only took about one hour this time.

Followed the transfer signs and you are suddenly at the exit of the airport! Connection flight operated by AA, but where does AA leave from? No signs! (Plus I don’t have much time to change). An employee tells me to go to terminal 8 and to take a train. Done, thanks! Made my way to what could be the right gate, with some people going through the door. The gates don’t have signs which plane or destinatinon their are currently boarding. So I also want to make my way through, but a housewife tells me that I am wrong here. More Panic! Wrong gate? Wrong terminal? Pfeww, wrong time. They are not yet boarding my flight. PFeww, so this is the right spot. Lucky me. Let me see if I still make it today…

PS. Actually made it and met Juliana Sutanto in the Hotel Lobby on arrival. Nice, but really too tired to talk. Sleep…

PPS. After one day in St. Louis, Missouri, I noticed that I am in a completely different spot in the US than I thought I would be (Note to myself, Missouri is MO and not MS :-)). That explains freezing cold and snow! 🙂

PPPS. I really really hate Hotels that charge 16$ per day for Internet access. Even the café where I just had espresso offers it for free.
