Yesterday, we opened the bottle of Laphroig which we had bought at the Duty-free in Bergen. And ‘lo and behold, it contained an exclusive invitation to the Friends of Laphroigh club which comes with a “LIFETIME LEASE ON A SQUARE FOOT OF ISLAY”. Somewhere here is my square foot. I graciously rent it out to the distillery which pays me the yearly sum of a dram of whisky (collectible when I visit them). Annoyingly, I am surrounded mostly by Swedish and German neighbours. Damn foreigners 😛
